Would you like to be a guest author?

Do you have a story that you’d like to share with the world, but don’t feel like messing around with your own time-consuming website? Are you an up-and-coming author that wants to build your portfolio and get your name out there. Let us do the dirty work for you. Send us your story, along with any relevant pictures. We’ll format it and post it to 4theloveofmetal.com. We’ll even post it to our 4theloveofmetal Facebook Group Page.

In return, your name will be prominently displayed in your submission. We’ll even give your social media page a shout-out if you’d like.

Maybe there’s a concert experience you’d like to share. Maybe you want to tell the world how awesome your band is. You might want to tell everyone how good a new release is. You might want to share your ideas or concerns about the state of the music industry as a whole. You might just want to get something off your chest. Whatever the reason; now’s your chance to show us how much music means to you.

Rules

Of course there’s rules, but we’ll try to keep them simple:

1. Keep it relevant to music. The heavier the better, but it doesn’t have to fit into the metal “genre”
2. Check your sources if you’re not sure. We don’t want to spread false information. It’s ok if it’s satire or opinion as long as it’s labeled that way
3. No politics. If that’s what you want, there’s plenty of other options
4. By submitting an article, you give permission to 4theloveofmetal to post it to WordPress and Facebook under the 4theloveofmetal name.
5. You are the owner of your work and you can have your article pulled at any time by written request
6. 4theloveofmetal does not guarantee or promise your submission will be posted. If we don’t post it, we’ll try to give you a reason why
